There have been some reports and complaints within our community about mail being removed from mailboxes and/or mailboxes being left open. We recommend that mail be removed daily so that it is never left it in your mailbox overnight, and, arrangement should be made through the post office to have your mail held, or collected by some other means, when you are going to be away.
In addition, if you see any suspicious activity around mailboxes, please notify the Ridgecrest Postmaster at 760-375-1939, you may also contact the Ridgecrest Police Department at 760-499-5100 to report any kind of suspicious activity. You should also inform the HVMCA manager at 760-446-6237 or by email at heritagevillage@verizon.net of any suspicious activity you have reported or observed.
Working together we can all help to make our community safer and a more pleasant place to live.
